Resume of representative and history of the activity of this NGO.
Mr.Nishida, the NGO representative, once worked as a secretary to Keizou Obuchi, the ex-Prime Minister of Japan, and has experience of working in a trading and financial firm. In September/11/ 2001, after the terrorist attack to WTC in NY, aged 55, he started working as NGO member for the Japan Islamic Trust in Afghanistan. This group is organized by Pashtun people in Pakistan.
During his time in the trading business, he became acquainted with Mr.Gorbachev, the last President of the Soviet Union. The concept of an International Law Court of the Environment was created by Mr.Gorbachev.
Just after March 2011 earthquake of Fukushima, he declared his concept in a statement in Le Monde journal saying,
“IAEA doesn’t fulfill its function. After all there is no international nuclear moral or law system to control and stop nuclear power or judge the environmental effect at this moment in time.So now is the time that we really need to make something for our future”
This was the first time he mentioned his concept about an International Law Court for the Environment. Afterwards, even though it was his own foundation, he had a lot of difficulty getting it established.
Mr.Gorbachev sent an email to Nishida in private saying,
“Even seems the great power of the President of the Soviet Union is completely under the control of huge financial societies. The only solution I can tell you is that the small NGO group like yours do have the possibility to unite all the criticism and opinion of all citizens on earth in a democratic procedure
that can make counter approach against this huge dark power”
This huge financial group is known as Bilderberg Society,Dark Side Summit.
Nishida was inspired by his message and established NGO Civilian Platform Japan.
The internet creates the possibility to connect all the people on earth and with huge global technology you can realize a virtual world wide community-an International Civilian Umpire Organization. This is the original concept of the International Civilian Law Court.
Now NGO is organized by a group of more than 10 professional lawyers from Tokyo,
Osaka and Hyougo. It collaborates with 99 international NGO NPO groups, 51 environmental
NPO groups and 5 Human Rights groups. In addition we changed the name as International Civilian Law Court is a temporary name that covers not only environmental issues, but also many kinds of international democratic issues, such as Japan’s Prime Minister, Abe Shinzo’s reckless driving dictatorship which is in danger of toppling fundamental human rights. -Translated by Yuri Shichida-
